The beautiful tote bags, purses and bags from our Rattan Collection start with natural rattan sourced from sustainable forests in Kalimantan, Borneo. Here, farmers harvest only mature plants and replace them with new vines, thereby ensuring the forest thrives for future generations.

Our artisan partners use traditional weaving techniques passed down from mother to daughter for generations. Rattan production and weaving offers indigenous people an opportunity to own their own businesses, be self-supporting and improve their standard of living.
